Find Out Whether the ILX or TLX is Right For You
All Acura models offer drivers a trove of exciting technology features nestled into a luxurious, comfortable interior – but how do you decide which one best suits your tastes? The 2017 Acura ILX and 2017 Acura TLX are both excellent options, but they excel in different areas. While the ILX offers drivers an accessible way into the luxury segment, the TLX is geared more toward those looking for a little extra power and customization. Whatever your preferences are, you’re sure to find the right model at Acura of Ocean. Take a look at these two options, then visit us to take your favorite for a spin!
Price and Performance
For those simply looking for an all-around versatile sedan complete with a long list of standard features, the ILX is probably the best decision. This is because the ILX has a more affordable starting price at $27,990 MSRP* and offers comparable engine output to the base TLX with 201 hp and 180 lb-ft of torque. However, the TLX – which has a starting price of $32,000 MSRP* – offers an upgrade to a V6 engine that produces 290 hp and 267 lb-ft of torque. If you’re looking for more customizable performance features, the TLX is likely your best bet.
Standard and Available Features
While the ILX is less expensive, it still boasts plenty of lavish features. It comes standard with a Keyless Access System, leather-wrapped steering wheel, and automatic climate control, and is available with amenities like leather seating, HD Radio, Siri® Eyes Free, and a Voice Recognition System through package upgrades. The TLX actually comes standard with Siri® Eyes Free, as well as other notable features like HomeLink®, which helps you remotely control your garage door, lights in your home, and home security system. The Acura Navigation System is also available on the second trim of the TLX, but only with the Technology Package of the ILX.
