So, who owns Acura? Acura is owned by Honda, which is a Japanese automaker, and the brand was established in 1986. At the Anna plant, you can see how many of Acura’s celebrated and dependable engines and drivetrain components are produced, while the Russel Point plant is known for manufacturing Acura transmissions and related components like the four-wheel drive systems.
